Scil Proteins occupies 3400 m2 of lab and office space at the Technology and Founder Centre II (TGZ II) in Halle (Saale), Germany and possesses all equipment necessary for Affilin® development and recombinant protein production in microbials on small and pilot scales.
In the non-GMP facility equipments are available for biomass production (up to 100 litres), cell disruption, protein purification, protein analyses, eukaryotic cell culture and molecular biology.
The cGMP production site occupies 740 m2 of clean room and lab and office space. It is located in the TGZ III which borders to the TGZ II. The facility harbours 100 litres and 1000 litres microbial fermentation capacity.
